Royce Road Closed Due To Flooding
After Monday's storms, flooded roads remain an issue.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Royce Road was closed Tuesday morning, according to a post from the Village of Bolingbrook. The road remained closed due to flooding after Monday's severe weather.
The village saw nearly two inches of rain on Monday, and 1.5-inch diameter hail.
According to WGN, wind gusts of 60 mph were also clocked in Bolingbrook. Monday's storms mean this May is the third wettest on record, with a total of 7.33 inches of rain for the month. The wettest May was recorded in 2018, when the Chicago area saw 8.21 inches of rain, and the second heaviest rainfall was in May 1945, when a rainfall total of 7.59 inches was recorded.
