More Than 1,000 Bolingbrook Homes Without Power Amid Severe Storm
The thunderstorm knocked out power for almost 1,535 ComEd customers in Bolingbrook Monday, according to the power company's outage map.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — The thunderstorm knocked out power for almost 1,535 ComEd customers in Bolingbrook Monday, according to the power company's outage map. Earlier today, a thunderstorm watch was effect in the village as strong winds made their way into Northern Illinois.
Widespread damaging with downed trees and power lines were predicted by the National Weather Service. Weather spotters were stationed throughout the village. Police and fire department officers are still responding to emergency calls for service. Non-emergency calls will be prioritized for a response.
