Shopping Small and Shopping Local on November 30th

Thanksgiving is just a few days away. With that comes the official start of the holiday shopping season. You have heard about Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but are you also supporting Small Business Saturday? This year, Small Business Saturday is on November 30, 2019. Why is this so important? Well, taking a yoga class at your neighborhood spot, buying flowers from the local florist, or getting a haircut at the local barber all directly support our community and our local economy. For every dollar spent at a small business in the United States, approximately 67 cents stays in the local community!
