Son Of Will County Board Member Dies In Iowa: Report
Ken Harris' son, Cameron, 21, was found unresponsive June 28. His family was notified by the United States Air Force's major general.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — The 21-year-old son of a Will County board member died late last month in Iowa, where he was stationed with the Air Force.
Airman First Class Cameron Harris, whose father is Ken Harris of Bolingbrook, was found unresponsive June 28, the Times Weekly reported. No other details on his death were available. His family was notified of his death by the United States Air Force's major general.
"Cam was the middle of my three sons," Ken Harris told the paper in a statement. "He was stationed in Des Moines, Iowa, and was there for training. He was set to resume his college studies this fall at Iowa State University. Please keep our family in your prayers."

Cameron also attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and graduated from Bolingbrook High School, where he played varsity basketball.
Robert Brost, head basketball coach at Bolingbrook High School, described Cameron as smart, kind and thoughtful in a tweet following his death.
