St. Baldrick's Event Is Sunday In Bolingbrook

Bolingbrook 4 Kids will host their annual event benefiting St. Baldrick's Foundation at Bolingbrook Golf Club.

BOLINGBROOK, IL - This Sunday, March 11, Bolingbrook 4 Kids will host their annual event benefiting St. Baldrick’s Foundation at the Bolingbrook Golf Club. The event begins at noon. Participants and teams will shave their heads to raise money for childhood cancer research. The event will include a huge selection of raffle prizes, food vendors, an Irish dance performance and many other fun activities for all ages.

St. Baldrick’s Foundation was started in 2000 with one head shaving event and now has over 1,000 head shaving events that take place around the world. Since 2005 St. Baldrick’s Foundation has donated over $232 million to fund childhood cancer research grants worldwide.

Bolingbrook 4 Kids was started in 2007 by local police and fire departments that wanted to get their community involved in finding a cure. Their event ranks in the top 40 events in the world and has raised over 1.4 million in the past 10 years.
