Bolingbrook - Camp Fire and Magnificent Mutts and Meows Rescue teamed together to create a fun and successful event on Saturday, March 7th at Camp Kata Kani in Bolingbrook. The weather was absolutely beautiful, too.

Thanks to Lewis University students for all of their help, and to Camp Fire’s Lombard club who made toys for all the dogs to keep. In addition, 16 dogs were adopted and found forever homes at Camp! See some pictures by clicking here.

Many special guests visited the open house including Village of Bolingbook Mayor Roger C. Claar, Trustee Mike Lawler, Trustee Maria Zarate, and Trustee Michael Carpanzano. In addition, families signed up for Camp Fire’s fun skill-building Summer Camp, and others had fun practicing the sport of Archery in an open field!
