Teen Charged After Throwing Rock at Car: Bolingbrook Police

May 6 

Victim punched 

Officers were called to the 200 block of S. Schmidt Rd., for the report of a battery, police said. The victim said he or she was punched by a stranger at 5:58 p.m. 

Illegal possession of alcohol by minor, resisting a peace officer 

Zachary Goodpaster, 18, 13R Fernwood Dr., was arrested at 8:04 p.m. and charged with resisting a peace officer, illegal possession of alcohol by minor and seat belt violation, police said. David Gunn, 26, 151 Jamestown Ln., was arrested and charged with obstruction. Goodpaster, Gunn and Richard Robles, 20, 419 Assembly Dr. were all charged with resisting a peace officer and illegal possession of alcohol, following a traffic stop on the Lot O of Fernwood Drive. 

Retail theft, resisting a peace officer at Meijer 

Lisset Covarrubias, 30, 665 Kensington Way, was arrested at 5:40 p.m. and charged with retail theft and resisting a peace officer at Meijer, 755 E. Boughton Rd., police said. 

In-state warrant 

Antonio Goodwin, 28, 7411 Woodward Ave, Woodridge, was arrested at 7:48 p.m. and charged with driving on a suspended license, driver safety belts and in-state warrant following a traffic stop on the 200 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive, police said. 

May 5 

Cash stolen from coin-operated machine 

Officers were called to the 200 block of S. Bolingbrook Drive for the report of a theft, police said. U.S. currency was stolen from a coin operated machine. The loss was valued at $86. 

Criminal damage to property 

Treshaun Morris, 19, 612 Olive Pl., was arrested at 6:18 p.m. and charged with criminal damage to property after throwing a rock at a car, causing damage, police said. 

Cell phone stolen from car 

A cell phone was stolen from a car parked on the 500 block of N. Janes Avenue between noon and 1:50 p.m., police said.
