Time to take out the trash? and maybe with a toter

Claar's CONTINUED support of Trump, corruption, and the debt he's saddled the village with drove him from office and it's time for a change

Roger Claar retired effective Friday July 31, its time to clean house. Claar's CONTINUED support of Trump, corruption, and the debt he's saddled the village with drove him from office and it's time for a change. That's why I'm running for Mayor, to clean up the mess he's leaving everyone with.

You see Claar isn't stepping down, but stepping out of sight. He reported over $40,000 in political contributions to his Bolingbrook PAC this week from those with ties to the village (he is the Treasurer and President of the Citizens for Bolingbrook PAC). He will in fact continue to hold the purse strings for any First Party Candidate in 2021. His retirement will not take away the community debt, highest in the county for a community of our size. For all the residents that appreciated his service I hope they also understand the cost. I have looked in the corners and under the rug he has not kept a clean house. Too many insider deals to mention. But most importantly we will not get relief from the Garbage Tax he imposed or the choice of a toter (something residents want, and which Claar will have at his new house in California).

Many in our community understand the time it takes to respond to the community and its a full time job, one I am prepared to take on day one, regardless of the salary. For Bolingbrook it is time to take out the trash, clean up Village Hall and start with some new fresh independent trustees, beholding to no one. Keep your eyes open for our Bolingbrook United Candidate announcement.
