Virtual Adoption Awareness Event on Saturday

On Saturday, January 30th the public is invited to join in the first virtual pet adoption awareness event in Bolingbrook. ( Learn More - Click Here ) Those tuning in live (or later viewing the recording) will be able to virtually meet and e-greet pets looking for their forever home. Virtual attendees will also be able to ask questions about the pets LIVE. The ultimate goal of the event is to meet local pets that are currently up for adoption, hear their stories and their habits, all while learning about the local adoption agencies, shelters, humane societies, and animal welfare groups. During the monthly series we hope to educate families about various dog breeds and what might be best for their family or situation. We also hope to cover common questions including learning about the pet adoption process including any costs, restrictions, expectations, etc.

The events will be broadcast Facebook LIVE ( facebook.com/BolingbrookEvents ) on the LAST Saturday of every month at 2:00pm Central. Virtual Adoption Awareness episodes with host Michael Carpanzano will be broadcast live on various community Facebook pages and groups including facebook.com/groups/bolingbrookpets . The episodes (which we will keep to under 30 minutes) will also be recorded for later broadcast on other social channels and e-distribution platforms.
