Volunteers Needed at CASA of River Valley!
Help make a difference for abused and neglected children in the foster care system. Become a CASA volunteer today!
Children need consistency and stability in their lives, but for those in foster care this is hard to come by. After being removed from their homes due to neglect or abuse, they are moved from foster home to foster home. By the time they begin to finally adjust to their new environment and get comfortable, they are moved to yet another home. They must adjust to a new school, new doctors, new case workers, a new family, and a completely new home. They are in constant worry that things could change and their lives could turn upside down all over again - something that no child should have to endure alone. These children need someone to be a consistent, caring adult presence during the most difficult time of their lives. These children need someone to be their voice in court so they can find a permanent, loving home where they can prosper. These children need a CASA volunteer.
