Weber Road Traffic Signal Restored
The villages of Romeoville and Bolingbrook issued traffic alerts Tuesday afternoon.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The villages of Bolingbrook and Romeoville warned motorists of a traffic backup due to a signal power outage on Weber Road Tuesday afternoon, but by 4:25 p.m. power had been restored.
Bolingbrook issued this alert: "There is a power outage along Weber Road (north and south of I-55) that has caused the traffic signals to flash red. Traffic is already backing up." Officials said the signals were expected to be out a minimum of two hours, until around 4:45 p.m. Drivers were advised to avoid the area if possible.
At 4:22 p.m., the Village of Romeoville sent a followup alert, saying traffic signals were once again functioning normally.
