Weekly Outdoor Concerts Return To Bolingbrook June 2
Rock cover band Voyage is scheduled to open the series at 7:30 p.m. at the Roger C. Claar Performing Arts Center.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — With the unofficial start of summer on Memorial Day, in-person events are beginning to make a comeback after a year-long hiatus. Bolingbrook's concert series is among them, marking its return Wednesday, June 2.
Cover band Voyage is scheduled to be the series opener, a group known for playing '70s and '80s classic rock hits. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Roger C. Claar Performing Arts Center, 375. Briarcliff Road.
Presented by the Bolingbrook Park District, the weekly Wednesday concerts are planned to run through Aug. 25, when Eagles tribune band One of These Nights will close out the summer series.

Throughout the 13 scheduled shows, genres will span R&B, country, '90s rock and party covers. Some artist tribute shows are also sprinkled into the mix, including one for Johnny Cash and June Carter by the Midwest band June's Got the Cash, set to take place June 30.
While social distancing measures will be in place at the venue, those who don't wish to attend or can't make it can also stream the shows on Facebook, @PACBolingbrook or @Bolingbrook, or on Bolingbrook Community Television.
