2 Dead In Shooting Outside UPS Facility
A man and woman were found dead in what police say is being investigated as a possible murder-suicide.
HODGKINS, IL — A man and woman are dead after a shooting outside the UPS facility that's being investigated as a possible murder suicide in Hodgkins Monday afternoon, police said.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the employee parking lot at the facility, 1 UPS Way, just before 1 p.m. to find two people on the ground unresponsive with gunshot wounds, ABC Chicago reported.
Paramedics examined the man and woman, later identified as 30-year-old Barbara Phillips and 27-year-old Fabian Young, and determined they were dead.

"We are deeply saddened by the incident that occurred this afternoon, and we are cooperating with the responding authorities," UPS said in a statement sent to NBC. "We will not comment further during an ongoing investigation."
Police said a semiautomatic handgun was found at the scene and the incident is being investigated as a possible murder-suicide, NBC reported.
