Du Page County officials are investigating a "personal injury" crash that occurred Friday afternoon near Archer Avenue.
Traffic congestion could result from the work, which is planned from July 22 until the end of October.
Illinois Route 83 is closed between Bluff Road and Archer Avenue due to a traffic crash with injuries.
