Here is a list of businesses nominated, some which received more than one recommendation:

  • Amore Yoga: Received more than two dozen comments: "The owner, Stefanie, is absolutely incredible! The classes are challenging yet fun and make you feel like you can conquer the world when you leave. It turns out that aerial yoga is the only form of exercise that my autoimmune arthritic body can handle. Don’t know where I’d be with Stefanie and Amore Yoga!" "Warm, welcoming, professionally run, and vitally healthy environment." "Owner goes above & beyond to help her clients. It’s a great studio."
  • Capri Express: "Stayed open for takeout and delivery the entire year with no interruptions to service. They have an extensive delivery radius and a large menu. Great food and independently family owned and operated."
  • Capri Ristorante: "Great food and staff!"
  • Kirsten's Danish Bakery: "The food is consistently awesome! Pretty and tasty. When I get there (which is not often enough), I am always greeted professionally and kindly. I am guessing that people who go elsewhere have not heard of Kirsten's! If they had, they would change their ways! Try the Seven Sisters and tuna sandwich... really good. And I am a customer, not a family member! PS you can celebrate birthdays by making cookies with your friends on Sundays. Also, Kirsten herself is quite the philanthropist. She has hosted and donated to HCHS Clubs and activities for the last 15 years as well as been integral in welcoming teachers from schools in South Africa to her bakery. Very fun and life changing for them!"
