Music Lessons - REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

There is no better time to start playing or continuing an instrument than now! American Music Institute's Fall semester is underway and whether you are looking to play piano, guitar, flute, violin, harp, voice, or more, AMI offers lessons for all instruments in-school & in-home.

AMI is a non-profit organization located in Clarendon Hills, Downers Grove and St Charles, IL. Lessons are available on all instruments (including voice), levels, ages and styles of music, and are in session year round, Our faculty is preparing for a great beginning to the new school year!

AMI New Faculty...
Taisiya Sokolova (violin/viola) is a graduate of the Colburn Academy for Young Artists, then received her BM and MM from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. As an educator, she believes that early music lessons benefit children’s development and is passionate about teaching young kids.

Jenna Hintz (soprano) is a graduate of the Boston University Opera Institute and holds a BM and MM in vocal performance from the University of Illinois. She has performed many operatic roles, concerts and recitals throughout this country and internationally, as well as continually teaching, accompanying and coaching. She has been teaching piano and voice privately and through various schools for over 20 years.

Sara Morrow (violin/viola) is a freelance musician and teacher in Chicago. She graduated from DePaul University with a MM in performance. She is a passionate orchestral musician and teacher.

Keegan O'Donald (cello/bass) completed his Master of Music degree at DePaul University and frequently performs chamber music in Chicago and around the country, including at the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival and the Meadowmount School of Music. He can also be heard with several Chicago-based orchestras and ensembles. A dedicated cello and bass teacher, Keegan has taught all-ages privately and in group classes.

Ilia Ulianitsky (piano) holds a BM from Colburn School of Music and MM from Indiana University - Jacob's School of Music in performance. He has taught at both at Indiana University and was an accompanist at Notre Dame in South Bend, IN.
