“My inspiration comes from the beauty I find in nature when painting plein air in local nature preserves. I often will paint smaller studies in the field and later create larger paintings in my home studio.
I find myself especially drawn to the changes in season we have here in the Midwest. Each season has it’s own color palette and difference in textures.

‘Tulip Profusion’ captures the happy feeling we get as spring flowers begin to add a welcomed splash of color to the landscape after a long gray and gloomy winter. The bright splashes of color energize us and serve as a reminder that more color and beautiful warm days will soon be upon us.”
This exhibit is free and open to the public until October 31st. Don’t miss out on the chance to see this amazing work by amazing Illinois artists
