Burr Ridge Largely Unaffected By Governor's Order: Mayor

Village sees a small increase in coronavirus cases over the last week.

BURR RIDGE, IL — The governor's order to close indoor dining in DuPage County leaves Burr Ridge largely unaffected, the mayor said Friday in his weekly statement on the coronavirus.

Mayor Gary Grasso said all but two of the village's restaurants are in Cook County, which has no indoor dining ban. (On Monday, after the mayor's announcement, an indoor dining ban was announced for suburban Cook County, effective Wednesday.)

Grasso warned Cook County's positivity rate for the coronavirus continues to rise.
