Burr Ridge May Start Indoor Dining Before Phase 4

The village is asking restaurants to present individual plans.

BURR RIDGE, IL — Burr Ridge Mayor Gary Grasso is suggesting the village allow indoor dining before it is permitted under Gov. J.B. Pritzker's fourth phase of the plan to open the state's economy. Grasso said he asked village staff to work with restaurants about preparing individual plans to open half of their indoor capacity with open windows and fans.

"I will be interested if the residents and restaurants would be in favor of opening indoor dining ahead of moving to Phase 4," Grasso said in his daily coronavirus bulletin Sunday.
