Hinsdale officials approved the developer’s plan to divide the property into two separate lots, the Chicago Tribune reported, and both the pool and the 3,754-square-foot house are set to be razed.
The home’s previous owners had a son who loved Batman, so the family had an artist freehand draw the bat signal in the pool.
