Children’s Theatre of Western Springs to host Kickoff Party - Open House Saturday, August 27

The kickoff party will start with a free performance by the very popular local comedian and magician, Frankie Ace.

The Children’s Theatre of Western Springs (CTWS) will be hosting a kickoff party/open house on Saturday, August 27 from 10:00am – Noon. The open house is open to current and prospective families interested in learning more about the children’s programs being offered this year by CTWS.

The kickoff party will start with a free performance by the very popular local comedian and magician, Frankie Ace. Following the magic show, there will be an introduction of the award winning and highly experienced faculty, a brief overview of classes being offered this year and audition details for upcoming productions of Elf Jr. and Alice in Wonderland.

Once the presentation is finished, children will have the opportunity to play theater/improv games with faculty while parents get a chance to ask additional questions in an informal Q&A session. Registration forms will be available to fill out at the open house and tours of the facility will be offered to those who are interested. The event will conclude with free snow cones for all attendees.
