Burr Ridge police reports, May 3

The driver of a 1999 Audi crashed into the front of the Burr Ridge Lifetime Fitness earlier this month, police said.
The 71-year-old driver was attempting to leave when the Audi suddenly accelerated from a parked position, according to a police report. The incident occurred at 9:19 a.m. May 3 at the fitness facility, located on the 600 block of Burr Ridge Parkway.
The Audi had to be towed from the scene, but there were no injuries reported. Lifetime Fitness did not immediately provide police with a damage estimate. The police report for this incident also did not indicate whether the business had to temporarily close as a result of the incident.
