Former Trustee of Burr Ridge Endorses Smith-Mital-Franzese

Their opponent is a "mean-spirited bully who grandstands, yells and screams when he does not get his way. I am embarrassed for my Village."

I have been a resident for 31 years and have devoted 20 years of public service to the Village of Burr Ridge. My public service began with Guy Franzese— we served on the Plan Commission starting in 1997. I went on to serve as its Chairman for eight years and was then elected to serve as Trustee for two full terms. I not only personally witnessed our Village grow and prosper in a positive direction, but experienced, first hand, the extraordinary time, dedication and energy required of public servants to the Village. I am so thankful for those who have continued on—to step up and volunteer their time to serve us.

I have carefully observed the actions of Trustees Anita Mital and Guy Franzese and have always found their decisions to have been made with the utmost care, attention and scrutiny—always for the betterment of the Village as a whole. Having researched Candidate Russell Smith, I know and trust he will do the same.

My observations of their opponent is quite different: I have witnessed only self-serving actions further clouded by colossal arrogance like no other time during my tenure at the Village of Burr Ridge. Mottl is a mean-spirited bully who grandstands, yells and screams when he does not get his way. I am embarrassed for my Village.
