“A guy came out and freehand drew it, and they [the owners] just kept it over the years,” explained Carstensen on the Zillow blog. “One of the son’s friends posted it on YouTube later, and that’s when it went viral.”
The home was listed at $2.7 million in Feb. 2012, and it sold on Nov. 3, 2014, for $1,795,000, according to Zillow.
In addition to the batman logo, other features of the house include a four-car garage, a hot tub and a tennis court.
The four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bathroom house is 3,754 square feet on a 1.65 acre lot.
