I-294 Southbound Delays After Car Flies Off Interstate

A car flew off the Tri-State Tollway during the Thursday evening rush and crashed off the highway, forcing State Police to shut down all lanes of I-294 southbound. The crash took place near Wolf Road before 5 p.m. All southbound traffic was being diverted off I-294 onto I-55.

Some southbound lanes are reportedly open again, but travel on I-294 remains slow. No word on the condition of the driver just yet or how many cars were involved.
