King-Bruwaert House to host two virtual seminars
Topics to focus on real estate trends and the importance of rightsizing

King-Bruwaert House invites area residents to view two virtual seminars, “Real Estate Market and Trends,” from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Aug. 25; and “Right-Sizing for a New Lifestyle,” from 11 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Sept. 10.
For the Aug. 25 program, leading real estate agent Alice Chin will discuss current trends in the local housing market; what steps to take when planning to sell a home; and how to select a realtor. Chin and her real estate team have closed on more than 1,200 homes valued at $350 million. Her presentation will provide helpful information for those who wish to start planning and preparing for a home sale.
The Sept. 10 seminar will feature insights from Tammy Bilek, a senior downsizing expert, who prefers the concept of “rightsizing.” She’ll suggest tools and resources to make moving a smooth transition. She will also share her experience in helping senior adults transition to community living. Bilek will discuss: Why you should consider a move; ways to make downsizing less stressful; tips for sorting, organizing and rightsizing your belongings; and the advantages of auctions and estate sales.
