King-Bruwaert House offers seasonal stays and fee waivers

Seasonal stays in Assisted Living are now available at King-Bruwaert House (KBH) in Burr Ridge. For residents, age 60 and over, who prefer a winter respite to avoid the cold temperatures and snowy weather, KBH offers the perfect opportunity for fine dining, daily activities, weekly housekeeping and exemplary care and services. Applications are now being accepted for those who would like to experience the comforts of a grand KBH lifestyle based on an affordable 60-day stay at half the cost.

For those considering a long-term move to Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing, KBH currently has an offer that waives the $1,000 application fee for new residents considering a move to these care levels. Carrington Hall represents one of our newest and most popular options, blending residential safety and security with personalized attention and care. Residents benefit from a full range of services that also include scheduled transportation, social services, individualized service plans and an abundance of activities and spiritual support.

Our well-appointed Carrington Hall Assisted Living suites feature unique layouts with light colors and efficient use of space. First- and second-floor suites are currently available with a variety of views overlooking our scenic 35-acre community. Small pets are welcome and we offer a convenient Dog Park for the enjoyment of our furry friends.

Private and semi-private rooms are available in our 35-bed Skilled Nursing Healthcare Center. KBH nurses and certified nursing assistants follow a detailed care management plan outlined by a resident’s medical team. Skilled Nursing services are tailored to the individual to support the maximum amount of independence based on both capability and interest. A nurse is on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
