Labor Day 2018: What's Closed, What's Open In Burr Ridge
Here's what's opened and what's closed in Burr Ridge on Labor Day.

BURR RIDGE, IL — Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer for most people, and many take advantage of the holiday to go on one last vacation or road trip. This year, Labor Day is Monday, Sept. 3. Since Labor Day is a federal holiday, it means a day off work and no school for children, and many municipal services are also closed.
Here's what will be closed in Burr Ridge:
- Village offices in Burr Ridge are closed Sept. 3.
- Indian Prairie Public Library, closed Sept. 2 and 3.
- Post offices closed
- Waste/garbage services, no services Monday. Services will be delayed by one day.
