Little Kids Lunch, Literature Held In Burr Ridge

BURR RIDGE, IL — The Burr Ridge Park District will hold a Little Kids Lunch and Literature for kids 4-6 on Friday, April 20. Parents don't need to come to the event, and the class will introduce kids to cooking and reading.

According to the park district, the kids will read a book and then create lunch from the story. The class will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. and the theme is "Too Many Carrots." Lunch will include pizza puffs, carrot sticks, fruit and a springtime treat.

The event will be held at the Burr Ridge Community Center.
