BURR RIDGE, IL — The timing could not be better for Valentine's Day procrastinators. Sephora, the quickly growing beauty chain, plans to open its Burr Ridge store Monday, according to the village government's weekly newsletter. It will launch with a "soft opening," meaning without fanfare. The store is at 582 Village Center Drive, Suite 220, a part of the Burr Ridge Village Center.

In an email, the chain's public relations office indicated the Burr Ridge store's grand opening is Friday, which is Valentine's Day. It did not answer a question about the soft opening.

In contrast to the village announcement, a Google listing for Sephora indicates the store is opening Friday, which is Valentine's Day. The closest Sephora stores are in Lombard and Oak Brook, both of which are more than 10 miles away from the Burr Ridge store.
