Tow Truck Driver Hassles For Date In Burr Ridge: Cops

BURR RIDGE, IL — A tow truck driver apparently wouldn't give up after he towed a woman's car in Burr Ridge, according to a police report.

The man towed the woman's car Feb. 21, but later texted her asking for a date, police said. The woman thought the man would understand what her lack of a response meant.

But a couple of days later, he showed up at her work on 91st Street to bring her doughnuts, the report said. She asked police on March 11 to contact the man and ask him to stop.

The man told police he was just trying to ask the woman out and would not contact her again.
