Crystal Lake Restaurants Offering Outdoor Seating

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Several restaurants in Crystal Lake debuted their outdoor seating last weekend, city officials said.

The restaurants currently offering outdoor seating include: Aroma Coffee and Wine, Benedicts La Strata, Café Olympic, Chilo’s Mexican Grill, Coleman’s Bar & Grill, Crystal Lake Brewing, Crystal Lake Rib House, Duke’s Alehouse and Kitchen, Fire Bar and Grill, Jameson’s Charhouse. Kyoto Japanese Steakhouse, Labemi’s, Matt’s Tavern, Mookies Steak & Seafood. Mo-B-Dicks North Shore Pub, Nick’s Pizza, Richard Walker’s Pancake House, Texas Roadhouse, The Cottage, Tony's, Triple Berry Cafe, Village Squire and Vine and Plate.

Meanwhile, 1776 Restaurant has received approval from the city to allow for outdoor seating and hopes to have its patio open on June 10, according to city officials.

"We started the process of adding a pergola style patio. The goal is to add six tables and a lounge area. We have an aggressive schedule and hope to have that open in the next ten days," Amy Piedra, who handles marketing communication for 1776 Restaurant, told Patch.com. "Those tables will be by reservation only and have time limits based on party size to ensure that everyone can enjoy the new space."

Carlos Pancake House, Andy’s, Las Cazuelitas and Pablos Family Fiesta are working with the city to add temporary outdoor seating in the coming weeks, Heather Maieritsch, economic development manager for the city of Crystal Lake, told Patch in an e-mail response.
