Crystal Lake Arrests: DUI, Forgery, Warrants

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — The Crystal Lake Police Department made the following arrests in recent weeks:

• Louis P. Greiner, 51, of the 1700 block of Ashford Lane in Crystal Lake, was arrested on June 10 on a warrant and charged with harassment through electronic communication. His bond was set at $195.
• Demetri Demarco Ates, 21, of the 600 block of S. Wabash Avenue in Chicago, was arrested on June 7 and charged with forgery issue/deliver document and resist/obstruct a peace officer/correctional employee. He was turned over to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.
• Korey Larry Collier, 18, of the 13900 block of South Atlantic Avenue in Riverdale, was arrested on June 7 and charged with forgery issue/deliver document and resist/obstruct a peace officer/correctional employee. He was turned over to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.
• Jerry Michael Plummer, 19, of the 13900 block of South Atlantic Avenue in Riverdale, was arrested on June 7 and charged with forgery issue/deliver document. He was turned over to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.
• Akeem Elijah Yasin, 33, of the 6900 block of South Sangamon Street in Chicago, was arrested on June 7 and charged with forgery issue/deliver document. He was turned over to the McHenry County Jail.
• Ryszard Tadeusz Kopacz, 37, of the 8500 block of Burton Road in Wonder Lake, was arrested on June 15 and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was turned over to the McHenry County Jail.
• Caitlyn Jade Montana, 31, of the 600 block of Old Farm Drive in Roselle, was arrested on June 24 on a warrant and charged with leaving the scene of an accident/vehicle damage. Her bond was set at $100 and she was later released from jail.
• Juan Manuel Juarez Roman, 47, of the 1600 block of Mark Avenue in Elgin, was arrested on June 20 and charged with driving while under the influence/alcohol, DUI/BAC over .08 and driving/never issued license/no driver's license. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was later released from jail. He is next expected in court July 27.
• Bruce A. Samp, 61, was arrested on June 21 and charged with domestic battery/physical contact and domestic battery/bodily harm. He was turned over to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.
• Joel Walter Tynis, 36, of the 1500 block of Catalpa Drive in Holiday Hills, was arrested on June 21 and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was turned over to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.
• Abraham Peter Akong, 37, of the 1700 block of Warrington Lane in Crystal Lake, was arrested on June 23 and charged with disorderly conduct. Akong was released from jail and is next expected to appear in court on Aug. 3.
• Eric Cordero Jarrell Anderson, 27, of the 1200 block of S. Kildare Avenue in Chicago, was arrested on June 23 and charged with possession of a controlled substance, firearm without a valid FOID and illegal possession of ammunition/FOID. He was turned over to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.
• Ivana Noemi Maldonado Salas, 36, of the 1300 block of Teakwood Lane in Crystal Lake, was arrested on June 26 on an warrant for failure to appear in court on a driving while license suspended charge in McHenry County. Salas is next expected in court on Aug. 5.
• Rafael Espino Vidales, 39, of the 300 block of South MLK Jr. Avenue in Waukegan, was arrested on June 26 and charged with driving while under the influence/alcohol. He was released from jail and is next expected in court on Aug. 24.
