Beer Garden Coming to Scorched Earth Brewing Company

The Algonquin Brewery outdoor seating for up to 50 people is expected to open in June.

Scorched Earth has had a couple of firsts lately. Last weekend, on March 21, the brewery went on the road to the Chicago Beer Festival at Union Station in Chicago. And after an approval from the Algonquin Village committee on Tuesday, the brewery is one step closer to its outdoor space, the Daily Herald is reporting.

The outdoor space is expected to have a “modern, rustic microbrewery feel,” Russell Farnum, Community Development director of Algonquin told the Daily Herald.

Final architecture plans will still need to be approved by the village.
