Beginner Boat Safety Class Offered by Crystal Lake Park District

This beginner class will give you the knowledge needed to obtain a boat license or safety certification in various states, and some boat insurance companies will offer discounts to boaters who complete the course. Topics include: Introduction to Boating, Boating Law, Boat Safety Equipment, Safe Boating, Navigation, Boating Problems, Trailering, Storing and Protecting Your Boat, Water-Skiing and River Boating. Bring a sack lunch.
