Cargo Falls Off Truck On Route 14

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL – A cargo fell off a truck in the area of Route 14 and Nimco Drive in Crystal Lake Monday morning, authorities told the Northwest Herald. The incident closed Route 14 and traffic was detoured, according to a Nixle alerts sent out by the sheriff's office at 9:06 a.m. McHenry County Sheriff's Office deputy Sandra Rogers told the Northwest Herald that the truck was heading west on Route 14 and turning left on Nimco when the cargo fell onto the road.

The roadway has since reopened, authorities said.
