Carpentersville Woman Charged for Defrauding Drug Test

A Carpentersville woman has been charged for defrauding a drug-screening test, according to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office. 

Sonia Rodriguez, 19, of the 1900 block of Bristol Circle, was arrested Tuesday, Jan. 7, and charged with unlawful defrauding of a drug-screening test, a Sheriff's new release stated. 

The Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division was notified by McHenry County Probation and Court Services regarding the discovery of evidence found in the bathroom immediately after Rodriguez completed a drug screening test.

Sheriff’s detectives initiated an investigation and interviewed Rodriguez. 

Her bond was set at $15,000, and she is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 10.
