Cary Police Search for Handgun-Armed Suspects Involved in Assault at Jewel-Osco
Officers responded Thursday morning to a report of an aggravated assault involving a deadly weapon.

Cary police were called Thursday morning to the parking lot of Jewel-Osco for a report of an aggravated assault involving a handgun.
Officers arrived at the store, 696 Northwest Highway, shortly after 9 a.m., according to a community alert.
"No injuries occurred, but the weapon was displayed to the victim," the notice said, adding that the offender had the handgun in his waistband.

Two suspects were involved in the incident. They were driving a blue Hyundai Sonata with an Illinois license plant beginning with the letter "e." The vehicle was last spotted heading westbound on U.S. Route 14 near Three Oaks Road, police said.

- A white man around 20 years old with short, dark hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap with a red brim.
- A white man around 20 years old with a thin build and long, dark brown hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap with a red brim and a green sweater.
