Chen's Chinese Cuisine Closes Lake In The Hills Location
The Randall Road Chinese restaurant has closed for good. The Crystal Lake location will remain open.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — A Chinese restaurant in Lake in the Hills has permanently closed its doors.
Suya and Ming Chen, the owners of Chen Chinese Cuisine at 270 N. Randall Road in Lake in the Hills, said in a statement posted on their website that the closure was not related to COVID-19. The restaurant's Crystal Lake location will remain open.
"The reasons for this are not related to COVID-19, as we are so grateful that you all have continued to provide incredible support to us even during the pandemic," according to the statement. "Instead, as a family-owned restaurant, we are downsizing in an effort to slow down our lives, spend more time with family, and focus on the Crystal Lake location."
