Chili Open Golf Classic Returns This Weekend
The Crystal Lake Park District will host the Chili Open Golf Classic on from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, on Crystal Lake.
From Crystal Lake Park District: The tradition continues! The Crystal Lake Park District will host the Chili Open Golf Classic on Saturday, February 10, 8 am-3 pm on Crystal Lake. Crystal Lake Main Beach is located at 300 Lakeshore Drive in Crystal Lake. Limited tee times are still available. Tee times begin at 8 AM and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration fee for the Chili Open is $120 per team (foursome). Register online at www.crystallakeparks.org and use program code 123402-01. The registration deadline is January 30. Golfers will play one championship, nine-hole, par-32 course on frozen Crystal Lake. You don't have to have any golfing experience to participate, just bring three friends, a few short irons, a putter and come have fun on the lake. All foursomes will receive our great giveaway and a chance to win prizes in our longest putt and “Greens in Regulation” Raffle. Painted golf balls, prizes and side games are provided to all golfers. No glass bottles on the ice please.
