CRYSTAL LAKE-CARY, IL — We can expect mostly calm weather this weekend, save for some patchy fog, rain and snow. Friday, we may see flurries in the afternoon lasting throughout the evening.
Friday night's low temperature of 26 will give way to Saturday's high of 40, when it is expected to be mostly clear. Fog will roll in after midnight.
Sunday morning for will subside around 8 a.m., the National Weather Service says, and the high temperature will be around 40. There's a 40 percent chance of rain, which is expected to mix with snow in the evening.
