Crystal Lake-Cary Weekend Weather: Cold, Possible Snow
Temperatures will drop this weekend and give way to a very chilly week.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — We can expect a fairly dry weekend as precipitation should hold off until Sunday. But temperatures will drop throughout the weekend, so keep warm. Friday, patchy fog in the morning will yield to an overall cloudy day with a high in the high 30's.
Saturday will be partly sunny with a high near 29, dropping to 14 overnight. Sunday, there is a 20 percent chance of snow before noon and a high of 25, with possible wind gusts.
The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook to the northern Illinois area, warning of fog and ice accumulation risks Friday, an elevated snow risk and Sunday and a cold risk starting Monday, when temperatures are expected not to break 20 degrees.
