Crystal Lake Central Dance Places 9th At State
The local team made it to the finals at this past weekend's state competition in Bloomington.
The results are in from this year's IHSA state dance competition. High school dancers first took the stage on Friday in Bloomington with dozens of schools from across the suburbs competing for the state title. Among the schools earning first place finishes this year are: Joliet Catholic Academy (Class 1A), Lake Zurich High School (Class 2A) and Naperville North (Class 3A).

Crystal Lake Central High School dancers advanced to the Class 2A finals on Saturday and ended the weekend in ninth place. Cary-Grove High School and Huntley High School dancers also competed at the state competition.
