Crystal Lake Dealing with Power Outages
Power outage reported on north side of Crystal Lake on Saturday evening.

The large number of residents on the north side of Crystal Lake are without power Saturday evening.Â
An outage that started at 5:11 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, affected about 2,490 residents, the Northwest Herald is reporting. By 6:30 p.m., power had been restored to approximately 2,100 of those customers.Â
As of 8 p.m., there were still 377 homes reporting no power, according to ComEd's outage website.Â
Crews are still working to restore power to the remaining homes. The outage was caused by an unknown external event that tripped a breaker, the Herald reports.Â
