Crystal Lake Freddy's Frozen Custard Opening Soon

The fast-casual restaurant known for its steakburgers and freshly-churned custard treats will open on Northwest Highway Tuesday.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will be opening its first McHenry County location in Crystal Lake next week. The business will open in the Bohl Farm Marketplace at 5500 Northwest Highway on Tuesday.

The Crystal Lake Freddy's will be the fifth location for the fast-casual restaurant in the Chicago area and will have a drive-thru and outdoor seating as well as indoor seating.

Freddy's saw a boost in sales and added more locations in 2020 even while the COVID-19 pandemic led to the closure of many restaurants.
