Culver's Is Out As Three Oaks Food Vendor
The city of Crystal Lake must now decide which new restaurant will run the concessions at Three Oaks Recreation Area.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL – Beach goers to Three Oaks Recreation Area in Crystal Lake will no longer get to enjoy a Culver's butter burger or frozen custard while they bask in the sun. The new owners of the Crystal Lake Culver's have decided to no longer run their seasonal location at Three Oaks. Now, the city must decide by the end of the month which restaurant will get to serve up food once Three Oaks reopens this summer.
Seven restaurants, including a mix of local restaurants and national chains, have applied for the opening, Heather Maieritsch told the Northwest Herald.
The matter is expected to be on the agenda at the March 20 city council meeting.
