D155 Hires New Chief Officer Of Finance, Operations
Kevin Werner spent the last nine years in the field of education, serving in District 47 in Crystal Lake and District 46 in Prairie Grove.

The District 155 Board of Education approved Dr. Kevin Werner as the new chief officer of finance and operations, effective July 1, 2021.

“We believe Kevin has the experience and work ethic to successfully uphold the district’s
commitment to fiscal responsibility and excellence. He brings a unique background and
comprehensive skill set to the role and has showcased his dedication to this community
throughout his time in education,” said Steve Olson, superintendent.
Werner has over 15 years of experience in public accounting, healthcare and financial services. Most recently, he has spent the last nine years in the field of education, serving as chief financial officer for both District 47 in Crystal Lake and District 46 in Prairie Grove. In addition to his bachelor’s degree from Augustana College and master’s degree in business administration from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, Werner recently earned a doctorate in education from Aurora University and his Chief School Business Official (C.S.B.O.) licensure from
Northern Illinois University.

within our community,” said Kevin Werner, chief officer of finance and operations.
Kevin Werner will replace Jeremy Davis, who will serve as the assistant superintendent of
finance and operations at North Shore School District 112 effective July 1, 2021.
