D155 Sells Haber Oaks Campus For $700K
The school district decided to sell the school after Haber Oaks students were transferred to Crystal Lake South High.

CARY, IL — Community High School District 155 finalized the sale of Haber Oaks Campus for $700,000 to a local developer last week. The Board of Education plans to use the proceeds of the sale to continue to improve district facilities, according to a D155 news release.
“Two years ago, we had an opportunity to offer students who attend Haber Oaks Campus additional learning opportunities while using existing space at Crystal Lake South High School. Now that the sale has been finalized with Haber Oaks Campus, the expenses and resources to maintain that facility will now allow us to focus on our current student needs and facilities,” said D155 superintendent Steve Olson said.
The Board of Education approved a purchase agreement with Elm Tree Properties, LLC in December 2018. The property located at 400 Haber Road in Cary is approximately 13,000 square feet and sits on nearly three acres of land.
