Emergency Repair Ordered After Storm Sewer Collapses
A section of Blivin Street in Spring Grove will be closed starting Wednesday, transportation officials said.
From McHenry County: The McHenry County Division of Transportation will be replacing a collapsed storm sewer on Blivin Street immediately north of the intersection of U.S. Route 12 beginning Wednesday, July 11, 2018 through Friday, July 13, 2018, weather permitting.

Impact to Traffic during Construction:
In order to complete the work, closure of Blivin Street at U.S. Route 12 is necessary. Traffic will be
detoured via U.S. Route 12, Wilmot Road and Main Street. Local traffic will have access up to the
work site.

The closure is scheduled to be in place at approximately 8:00 AM Wednesday morning and continue
through late Friday afternoon.
