Festival Of Lights Drive-Thru Parade Cancelled
Now the drive-thru version of the traditional Festival of Lights Parade in Crystal Lake has been cancelled as well.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — The Festival of Lights Drive-Thru parade in downtown Crystal Lake has been cancelled, according to a post on the Downtown Crystal Lake Facebook page. The parade had been planned to take place on Friday, Nov. 27, as an alternative to the typical Festival of Lights Parade.
Downtown Crystal Lake made the "difficult decision" to cancel the drive-thru parade due to a surge in COVID-19 cases in McHenry County and after a cancellation of key parade units because of concerns over the virus.
"Ultimately, the health and safety of every person involved in our community must be considered," according to the Facebook post.
